EVP Research

Electronic Voice Phenomena are audio fragments which contain voices of people not physically present at the time of the recording. EVP researchers interpret these as voices from the deceased. The first EVP investigation was performed in the fifties. Nowadays, researchers make short recordings with the aid of a computer and edit these fragments using commercially available software tools to distill the voices. For further reading you are referred to the Wikipedia article on this subject and the websites of EVP researchers.

SpiriGate Project

The objective of the SpiriGate project is to conduct scientific analysis on EVP using modern digital signal analysis techniques in order to attain the best audible voices. A special apparatus is designed and software is being developed with the following main objectives:

  1. Audio recording of the highest possible quality
  2. Application of state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques
  3. Real time presentation of the processed voices
  4. Store audio fragments for post processing

The required software is distributed free of charge and updates can be downloaded from this website. For more information, don't hesitate to contact us.
